In reply to: Adding Button to Navigation BarI’m not seeing anything in ff… and there is something screwy going on in ie… just to make sure why don’t you validate your page… you’ve only got two errors which both should be pretty easy to fix.

In reply to: Best app for offline composition?others here will blast me for this, but I use Dreamweaver 4.0… MX causes some problems (if you’re not careful), but I’ve never had a problem with 4.0 when I copy from the code view.
let the beatings begin…

In reply to: Integrate Gallery into WordPressI’ll be modifiying a gallery ver 1.5 template to look like my WP 1.5.1.3 theme in the next few days. After I’ve finished it up I’ll try to write up some instructions… the ones at pibby are a little out of date.
I won’t be integrating the databases together though… that’s out of my league!

as to having some display and some not… that would require a plugin.

In reply to: Opinion on WP recommended host?my god you all are willing to pay a lot of cash to get your blogs hosted….
anyway… I’ve got a client who uses powweb… no problems… funky admin area… expensive…
I’ve also sent several people to globedomain.com… no frills, but they’ve recently been taken over by acunett… the service is improving, but I’m not recomending them yet (they are crazy cheap though… )
There’s another company called 9esolution that I’ve used which has had stellar uptime, but has horrible customer service.
If you’re site doesn’t have much traffic, I could host it for you as well.

In reply to: FYI: PreFormatted and WP-ContactForm don’t play togethercrazy…
when I have preformatted activated the contact page looks fine but when a msg is filled in and the button clicked, it doesn’t send the message, doesn’t go to the confirmation or back to the form.
Instead it loads what I’m guessing is the contact template since the header, sidebar and footer appear, but in the content block it says something like “no such file” or some such… (can’t remember the specifics… if you want I can get them)…
Once again I’m allright with preformatted not working. All my pages validate (well all but one and that’s a stupid mistake on my part that I need to go fix). And everything is “working”.
Do you think there’s any chance that it’s a server related issue? I’m running the site in question off of my reseller account which I operate through another virtual host which hosts at the Planet… Might also be the combination of another plugin, I’ve got like 20 installed…
I’m stumped with it, and don’t care that much… If it produced an error msg, or if I “had” to have preformatted I’d be much more upset, but as it stands it’s more of a “that’s weird” sort of thing.

In reply to: non fatal database error question relating to commentsok… I’ve placed a graphic of what I think is the relevant table at
https://www.phs90.com/images/phpadminpic.JPG (90k) but it looks ok to me…with that said… is this really a db error, could it be something as simple as missing a bracket somewhere in one of my layout files?

In reply to: Destination after User LoginI changed one of my WP sites to drop back to the index after logging in… I’ve set up most of the posts with permission levels so once logging in they’re able to see more than when they’re not logged in… There isn’t really any need for them to be in the admin area…
I want to say it was in the wp-login.php file… I did a search for wp-admin… I think there were four results…. yelp if you need more info…
