In reply to: Most PopularMore flexibility over post-ordering in next version would be great. Eg: ability to order posts by popularity and/or to force sticky posts to top of tag and category pages (except latest post pages). Unless site is a news site ordering by publication date isn’t very meaningful.

In reply to: [BulletProof Security] redirect with url passed in querystringThanks for your reply. For simplicity I decided to host open.php on another domain as it is used to redirect to multiple other domains.

In reply to: [BulletProof Security] redirect with url passed in querystringThanks, but I am non-technical and do not understand how to edit this code, eg is: (blogger|picasa|blogspot|tsunami|petapolitik|photobucket|imgur|imageshack|wordpress\.com|img\.youtube|tinypic\.com|upload\.wikimedia|kkc|start-thegame) necessary just to whitelist one file (open.php) on my domain?
log code below, I changed real domains for mydomain.com, otherdomain.com

In reply to: [Newsletter - Send awesome emails from WordPress] confirmation email not sentHere is reply from hostgator: “Our system scans for anything that is overtly spamlike, and marks it so that we can ensure that little to no spam comes through our system. When sending an email through a plugin in wordpress, or any other script, it is strongly suggested to use smtp instead of sendmail, as this will allow the script to send through the mail servers, instead of being sent directly from the server itself, which can cause issues later down the road.”

In reply to: [Newsletter - Send awesome emails from WordPress] confirmation email not sentI removed the plug-in and re-installed it. Then went through and re-configured everything back to defaults as it still remembered my settings even after being removed. Again tried to register an e-mail, nothing sent. Again sent the test emails, received all 4 almost instantly. I set up the log file and checked it, it said: “17-08-2014 10:33:19 – INFO – 28.4 MB – New email address”
