Apologies if I missed a step updating the topic, but thanks for the response and this did the trick. For the benefit of anyone who may run across this in the future, the *wordpress.conf* file referenced is the Apache config file (on Debian-like systems, located at /var/www/apache2/sites-available). At least if using Letsencrypt, the SSL config needs to be updated as well.

Hey @nikola, do you have an update on this? We’re experiencing the same issue including on the most recent update (2.8.5).

So far so good on the development version – at the very least the shortcodes are working again, and will update if the fatal error occurs again (so far it hasn’t).

Hmm, that would be interesting. I might could make that work, provided the posts could be kept private.

Nuggetsol, I’ve looked at it but it’s not really what I need. I’m needing to review submitted forms, not submitted articles.
