This is above my pay grade. I have sent this thread to my tech support people and they hopefully can chime in with the answers to your questions.

Similar issue here. Throwing a 520 Error. The front end is fine and up. ANytime I try to create something new in the back end, I get that error. New Post. New Event. New page. I can access the posts and the quick edits, but when I go to modify an existing post by the full edit, I also get the error.

I can access the plug in menu, but when I try to disable CloudFlare I get a browser error that says my site is not working and unable to handle that request.

I believe what you want to do is built into WP.

Create the CHICKENS category

Go into POSTS and then filter by ANIMALS (this will show all posts in ANIMALS)

Select all the posts (checkbox at top)

Change the DROP DOWN from BULK ACTIONS to EDIT, Click APPLY

From next screen you can then select CHICKENS as an additional category.

Not sure I understand-or maybe I did not phrase it correctly.

I am done with a live blog post. When I look at the front end, I still see the compose box and all of the live updates that are associated with the post.

If I uncheck the liveblog box in the dashboard side, what happens to the updates? Will they still display (without the compose box) on the front end?

UPDATE: 1.8.1 was not showing on my dashboard as an update. I deactivated Jetpack. Re-activated it and there was the option to upgrade from 1.8 to 1.8.1 and stats have returned

Since the latest update (to 1.8) I have found that I am getitng a STATS UNAVAILABLE TRY LATER error messgae

Zack– I downloaded it and could not get it to work. Is this really a plug in or are you just offering the code to do it?

Same situation here. I have Stat Ppress Reloaded as well, so I am still able to pull numbers, but I really rely on and like the WP-Stats. I hope it is a temporary glitch

Not sure on the time, but I am also in limbo as well. Stat Press is showing 800 visits so far today and this plug in is showing 12.

I am having several problems.

1. The tweets were not including the URL shortened by Bit.Ly. THis was resolved by removing the trailing space after the last character in the API key.

2. The video embed in 2.9 (putting a URL alone on a line) causes an error. Disable Twitter tools and it is fine!

3. When creating a new post and either save to draft, or publish there is a generic error (mostly a white page) saying the post cannot be saved. Retry. It is indeed saved as draft, but the categories, tags and any info put into Headspace2 or All in One SEO (title, excerpt or keywords) are all gone.

I am keeping it disabled till there is a fix. I liked the plug in, but I am not so sure I want to participate in the $14.99 support plan for 3 to 24 minutes for them to troubleshoot.

NEW INFO:

I am NOT able to create a new post. When I do and click publish it churns, disappears and then comes back to the blank EDIT POSTS screen.

I did just get this message and have a note into my tech guy, but wodul this cause the issue? I am thinking it was due to me trying to upload that 1.1.g file first by WP and then by FTP

Your cPanel account ‘eyeannap’ is running over quota – ALL its MySQL databases are disabled (and invisible to you for now) to avoid crashing.

Please free up some disk space or upgrade.
Once you do this all the databases will be enabled during nearest hour and you will receive a notification about.

The culprit was the Visitor Like/Dislike Rating plug in.

As I troubleshot more (with the help of a friend) it was more and more bizarre. Some users were not able to access the HTML view otrhers were not able to access the Visual view. Older users upgraded to Admin wwere able to post. Very strange behavior.

But it is resolved and just a heads up on the culprit!
