I tried wp_insert_post_data, that didn’t update the RSS input either.
I will use the_content to modify the content when read.

I’m using Progressive WordPress (PWA). It doesn’t display the ‘Add to homescreen’ button for me either.

I have the same issue on my site too, I don’t get the button displaying.
I can add it manually, and it all works ok.
I’ve tried deleting history and the cache. And tried on Android Chrome and the Samsung browser.

Are there any other workarounds, like having a special page to install the PWA home page and emailing it to website users?
