Was there ever any resolution to this problem? I am running into a similar situation where it is going over the max freight limit, but I’d also want to break the shipments up into various boxes when the weight goes over 50lbs (ish). We are finding that if you get into the freight weight, it is actually cheaper for someone to put in (2) 50lb shipments than (1) 100 lb shipment. Did you happen to find some solution that would work for this?
