I am so impressed by your quick reply and solution. It’s wonderful.

The solution worked — enabling the multiple field, and also removing the dollar sign for good measure. The multiple field would not have occurred to me, so that was most welcome.

Just went back tried the patch with my original settings, and it’s working perfectly.

I’m having the same problem with a Genesis theme on the site at https://joyfulharmony.org/.

I did run the version back (thanks for that advice!), and the plugin started working correctly. That was OK until someone updated the events calendar and it wouldn’t work with the older version.

Plugins have been disabled – the same problem occurs until the theme is changed. The email & name fields show up with the 2020 theme (with plugins enabled), but not when the Genesis theme is active.

From your development notes, I see a reference to a fix in an upcoming update for the Divi theme. Will that same fix work for Genesis?

Also, when you click on Read More, the actual testimonial has lost formatting, very much like an excerpt would.

There are no paragraphs, just one big block of text that goes 75% of the way across the page. I can fix the width, but do not know how to fix the lack of paragraphs.

Something odd must have happened in a upgrade.

Your help would definitely be appreciated.

I can’t check that at this point, but it was probably 5.4.

Congratulations! I agree — it’s hard to replace this one, and I was also happy not to have to start from scratch.

The application on this particular client site was to insert the portfolio into a page; I haven’t tried it on a template or php doc. The only reason for tweaking the shortcode was to get the description to show. For some reason it would not show unless showdesc=true was inserted. It wasn’t needed when the I first set up the plugin.

Sorry I can’t help you on the hardcoded issue!

I’m running into the same issue, but only on one website out of several that are running WordFence. It doesn’t seem to be a plugin or theme issue. I’ve no ideas, but at least you’re not alone …
