In reply to: [qTranslate] Abandoned plugin by its authorYes. But there is a solution I think: mqTranslate. I haven’t tested yet but it seems to work this fork of the original plugin. I’ll tell the community the result of my exploration on that way.

In reply to: [qTranslate] Tinymce advanced editor not showing up!Thanks Martin Mateju. It works! But I insist, there are no news from qTranslate plugin author, so I think community users should carefully evaluate if this plugin is a real option to develop stable websites.

In reply to: [qTranslate] wordpress 3.9.1qTranslate abandoned by its author? mqTranslate a valid replacement for all developers we have used the plugin in our websites?
Hi Mark!, sorry for not answering before. The addDefaultChartset within .httaccess fixed the problem, and the website was running Ok with the caché, not changing the spanish characters anymore and increasing the speed of webpages. Thanks for solving this point.
Unfortunately, another and different conflict appeared when activating the performance setup: the mobile and web version became to introduce errors, mixing both versions.
This issue could be very important to improve Wordfence plugin. I’m using Any Mobile Theme Switcher, a very usable and friendly plugin that allows to serve a different theme depending on which OS you are using while navigating. For example, if I browse with my Mac or any other PC, iPad and tablets, I offer classic version. If the user visits the webpage from telephones, I offer mobile version (see https://fen.uahurtado.cl).
When I activate Performance Speed from Wordfence, sometimes appears mobile version in Macs and PC’s and classic version in the mobile phone screen (opposite result). In other cases, the website simply confuse both versions in different pages.
I was googling some clues and I found some similar problems with the very popular WP Super Cache. Some developers were talking about a necessary code in functions.php (inside the theme), others were suggesting different strategies.
What do you think is the solution regarding Wordfence Security?
I’ll be very careful of your instructions since I don’t want to discard Wordfence due to Any Mobile Theme Switcher incompatibilities.
Thanks!
JHCOk I’ll do it and tell you what happens.

In reply to: [qTranslate] When will the qTranslate update for WP 3.8 be available? Thanks to everybody, in my case, it’s works. But I’m still worried about future upgrades, the most correct solution to this topic is following the author upgradings who will appear alongside with versions of wordpress. In my experience, for every WP update, qTranslate takes roughly a month to post their version of the plugin. For WP 3.8, is more than two months without changes plugin.

In reply to: [qTranslate] Problems with 3.8I have written to Qian Qin but I didn’t receive an answer. I’m considering to donate something to see if this is a way to move the plugin.
