soo…pardon my ignorance, but if i rename the plugin folder, then everything will become useless. can I assume wordpress will then auto-create a new one and I will need to reinstall everything? Is that what you mean or am I just totally missing it? ??

I absolutely forgot to that and just did – same thing. Thus it isnt thme problem.

It all happened it seems from either jetpack or wordpress update.

Here is something I just realized:

I run two sites on same server:

atomwire.net
jobs.atomwire.net

-both run jetpack 2.0.4
-neither can run publicize successfully
-Snaps plugin works fine with jobs.atomwire.net
-atomwire.net is the issue of autopisting listed above
-I have not update to worpdress 3.50 on jobs site

I am beginning to think it’s wordpress…

…of course I am not programmer it just seems to me this is what it’s pointing to

Oh and the window cannot be closed unless i close out/back/forward refresh main window

OK, I have played with a bunch of settings and this is what I have come up with (Keep in mind I have never had ANY problems untill this week, maybe 2 weeks ago)

In testing, I have turned all plugins off accept:
-nextscripts
-aksimet
-jetpack
-Autoblogged (https://autoblogged.com/ in case you have never heard of it)

When autoblogged collects posts ofr my site, up untill recently it would auto post to twitter, tumbler, linekdin, etc. Now after tinkering with it, I have it set to automatically put posts as “pending”, then when i manually approve them, they will post to social networks.

There ha sno tbeen a recent update of autoblogged, and it seems this started with an update of wordpress or jetpack, i cannot remember. I have tried with jetpack turned off and same effects

I love your plugin and if i could fix the issue, that would be great.

To answer your question, yes I have tried both. In reviewing Jetpack’s changelog, there have been no recent changes to publicize

WordPress 3.5 was released around the same time, 12.11.12, so it could be either thing nto working out or all of a sudden there is an issue there that was not there before.

Ideas?

UPDATE: OK, so I found an interesting piece of information. Sites should be validated. WordPress lists it here and I am finding that my site is not passing.

With the Unicorn validation I am finding a common error.”required attribute “alt” not specified” and “reference to entity “rel” for which no system identifier could be generated”

Any ideas how to fix?
