  • It’d be nice to be able to bulk upload rotators via a comma separated list.

    Eric:

When I entered the two testimonial posts for dual comm terminal, I had already created the group “dual comm terminal”, which yielded the group slug dual-comm-terminal. I never created any categories under WP Admin > Posts > Categories, because I wasn’t aware that was necessary. This isn’t among the instructions listed here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/ivycat-ajax-testimonials/installation/

Is it necessary? This might prove inconvenient, since I don’t want the testimonial group names as “categories” to show up among all the other categories form my WP site.

When I go to the testimonial post itself (Testimonials > All Testimonials > post), I see a drop down to associate the testimonial with a group (i.e. dual-comm-terminal), but not with a category. How would I even make that association if I wanted to do so?

FYI: I added the code ajax_on=’yes’ only to be sure it was on (and rotating the testimonials). After removing it, same result: no rotation.

I’d appreciate some clarification about associating the testimonial post with categories -vs- groups.

    Thanks!

Synved: Thanks fro the heads up re: “p” tags. I’ll look into this issue with my theme provider.

But what’s up with the accordion not displaying properly in the Opera browser? It’s not related to the invalid code, because I fixed that manually. I’d like to have 100% browser compatibility with the plugins I use. Any ideas how to remedy this?

    Thanks.

Let me add another comment to my original post re: Opera browser. When I view the source code for the accordion in any other browser (I used Chrome & Firefox), I see a lot of “p” tags with no corresponding closing “p” tag element. I.e., the code seems to be technically invalid. I guess the more robust browsers are prepared for small inaccuracies, but not Opera.

In any case, it’d be nice for the code to check out as completely valid.

Just wanted to bring this to your attention.

This isn’t really an answer to your question, but a possible workaround. Install your contact form via the shortcode on some random page. Publish the page, view it, then view source code. Copy the html generated by the shortcode, and then insert it on your intended page within the tab shortcode.

jglovier: Thanks for your links to the past reviews of Yoast -vs- AIOSEO. I have to say, the review at https://perishablepress.com/wpseo-vs-aioseo/ is almost 18 months old, and Yoast has been very aggressive improving the plugin. I use Yoast, but have to admit that I’ve never tried AIOSEO. FYI: AIOSEO just released version 2 of its Pro version, so that’s worth a look. Available here: https://semperplugins.com. Good luck to all.

I’d like to bring this post back to the top. I would like to be able to do the following customization items:

    (1) use my own submit button (via image I supply) – this is the topic of the original post.
    (2) Be able to intersperse form fields with text that I supply. For example, I’d like to group the form fields in groups, each with a header, such as “business info”, “owner info”, “banking info”, so the user has a better experience.

    Thanks.

    PS: great plugin.
