I also contacted stripe and they said “it’s important that you rely on webhooks rather than redirects to trigger a charge creation, post-verification.
Therefore, please make sure that you charge the source upon receiving the source.chargeable event on your server-side and then notify your customer:
https://stripe.com/docs/sources/ideal#webhooks”
