Done – so they are showing up as I suspected in my manage themes page – but no sight of the actual files in my ftp system.

Any ideas how I figure out where they are going?

I used ftp to install into wp-content/themes

But when that didn’t work I used wordpress
That worked but my problem now is I dont understand where it is pitting the theme files because they are not showing in wp-content/themes

I just tried uploading it via wordpress not ftp and it is now installed and working but I can’t find the installed files via Filezilla – all very odd.
Should I worry that I don’t know where they are and try and figure it out?

OK will do – but can you explain why none of the other themes are showing up in manage themes either? Including twentyeleven?

OK done that but it still doesn’t show up in my manage themes section in wordpress.

If it were just the one theme that was not showing up that would be strange but because it is all of the themes in wp-content/themes I am convinced wordpress must be looking elsewhere for the theme files.
Especially as the one theme I can see in mange themes does not appear in wp-content/themes.

Any other ideas?
