hi zach: i’ve discovered your plugin and am using it for a listing of museums on a client site.

i’ve noticed on many of the sample sites people have a legend at the top of the master catablog shortcode page – i’d like to do one with categories.

is there a shortcode for this? or does it have to be done manually? i looked through all the docu but didn’t see anything on this.

hi gf! i went ahead and just manually changed the ads, adding exact copies and deleting the old ones with the bad links. that seemed like the best way to handle it.

i did an export of the entire site database and opened it up; i could see that wp-bannerize had encoded the entire path to the ad image, rather than just a relative path. that seemed to be the source of the problem for me.

so, i simply (well, it did take 2 hours, hah) redid all the ads, and now they are working fine.

i love the product, and the only thing i would like to add is on/off dates (for the ad to appear within a set of dates). otherwise, it’s absolutely awesome! thank you for responding, and for your hard work on this important plugin, gf.

thank you, al – very helpful. i added this to a footer file in the backend editor (footer.php) but it’s not displaying anything. i’m using PHP5 so i used this string:

$published_posts = wp_count_posts()->publish;
?>

but nothing… any ideas?

typically i delete the feed and then reburn it at feedburner. that does the trick.
