Mike I worked with my hosting provider last night (webhostinghub) and he looked through the email you sent me and the recommendations you made.
Default is 200, so adjust the following values to a higher number, such as 1000:
suhosin.post.max_vars = 1000
suhosin.request.max_vars = 1000

This did not fix the problem. I have not disabled the other plugins yet but see mixed success on the part of others. Should I still try that?

Also, where does the data submitted by the form go and is it accessible?

second problem.
when I started up initially and ran through the tutorial. I was able to see the home page in design mode and make some changes to text. Now after selecting a theme I cannot get to the page to add content and edit it. I created a page but find no way to do the layout, add text and pictures etc.
What am I missing?
