Headway meta that needs to be included is as follows:

headway-admin-meta-box-template

headway-admin-meta-box-alternate-title

headway-admin-meta-box-post-thumbnail

headway-admin-meta-box-display

If this is not sensible your end perhaps i need to go back to headway. I just got this from another thread on the headway forum.

yes i have but the widget title area is still there so i have a black bar with no title in it still.

That template is your plugin inside headway, nothing fancy going on with it from what I can see. Looks just like I have added it to a headway site I designed.

I have passed this onto headway and got an update today. They are looking into the development option their end so their meta box information is available.

This https://grab.by/zgpq is currently missing from headway for custom post types including wp job manager, event manager plugin and also essential grid plugin.

They said this:

“That’s the thing, some plugins DO have the capability, such as More Types. When you create your CPT, it gives you the option to enable the HW Metaboxes.

The plugin I usually use CPT UI does not so I’m now rethinking that. I’ve posed this as an issue to look into for our dev team to see if they can make it work on our end but there is no definitive answer on implementation let alone a timetable at this moment.”

So what is it that the CPT UI plugin does that perhaps you could do your end?

In fairness to both parties, I’m getting a bit uncomfortable sitting in the middle. Either headway or the other plugins including job manager change how they are constructed.

On the basis headway is a very popular theme, I would suggest some form of communication directly with them. Your plugin and others can’t be used because the headway template system is essential for initial development and for clients use. I can’t keep going back and forth between both parties.

It really is important to get to the bottom of this for benefit of all users.

no problem Sarah, If I see a good plugin I like to dish out a few ideas as the more I use WordPress, the more I crave easier solutions to work with the best plugins.

One plugin I like that uses the complex shortcode principle is justified image grid. Once you get the hang of the options for the shortcode it works a treat.

also a premium one could enable the icons to be different colour. Lots more features you could add.

If you added a few extra features like this and positioning text above and below icons, i would purchase a premium version to be honest. Great plugin but you should think about a bunch of extra options for a premium one such as easily functionality to add your own icons.

Is there any chance this could be added in an update and also a way to add the share this content central and above the icons.

I only ask because I finding centralizing everything works better when working responsively for mobile.

I agree we could do with this, I just installed the plugin and don’t want them to be left.

Great plugin by the way, nice and simple and looks fine on mobile, which many of the others don’t.

I tried this css to center the buttons and it’s not working any ideas?

I’m having a similar issue with another plugin, so I’m thinking Headway needs to do something or other plugins with be rendered useless as well.

The visual composer and all in one seo have options to enable their plugins to appear on custom posts so no problem there now. That’s figured out, it’s just the options headway puts on posts that need to be sorted.

I’m not suggesting headway seo is standard, I don’t use it. This website has all in one seo instead and I’ve just found the option to show seo for job listings inside that plugin. That’s sorted and totally logical from that plugin provider.

No problem with featured images, don’t need to dwell on that I mentioned it because it is a standard option in headway posts. No issue for me if you haven’t included it.

I understand you have to specify what shows up as you showed in the array above. I need the headway settings, which enable me to apply a template to the listing page and also the ability to turn off the title (not super important in this example but i don’t want CPT’s turning it off).

I don’t want to throw the book at either party here but what I am highlighting is one or the other needs a feature to include the right options.

If i am looking at this logically, if All in one seo has an option to be included in custom post types and visual composer has an option to be included with custom post types should your plugin have a similar option or should headway have an option to display all their information in all custom post types?
