It would surely be more logical for the plugin to maintain the standard post setup by the theme (or at least the options required) and you add custom fields than go the other way and have to add something to the theme when your plugin is used. This will cause headaches with theme updates, I guess. The same principles you are following are the same with WP events plugin. Certain fields are lost from the standard theme post template.

This process makes no sense to me when you have important seo plugins that cannot be seen on these posts and other important theme options.

Forget the above I resolved the issue, turned out my theme adding some weird margin settings after an update.

Any chance this feature could be added to the plugin in future without having to do css?

Honestly, the things you could do with this plugin if it could have text centered above or below the icon with font size and style set by your theme would be fantastic.

Check out the vouchercloud website, see how they have used icons. You can do that with this plugin apart from the different colours but having text under the icon with less icons than this example would work well.

I’ll give this plugin a go at some point in the future and may change my review, however it stands right now I’m going along without it. How dare people tell me to not write a review on a plugin, if it screws up my site the instant after installing and using it for 2 jobs posts I shall comment. No one needs 5 hours wasted time. Nonsense comments frankly!

thanks for the reply but the feature for table borders is not available. What happens if I have a tab background that is blue and i want to use a table and can’t change the borders to the same blue as the background to hide the table.

The borders feature is so useful when you want to structure content in a table but hide borders on different coloured backgrounds.

I’m having a problem where the shortcode options appear behind the wysiwyg editor, so you can’t add a short code. Going to try a work around as I have the code on a page completed but nevertheless, this is a problem for different shortcodes you need.

Same as above this is a problem, I have to choose a colour available then go to the code to add the exact colour I need. This is a problem when working with client colours that have to be exact.

Also there needs to be the ability to add swatches so every page can select a saved colour. Now wordpress forgets the colour you add and you have to add in it each time. Very annoying when you need a specific link colour different to theme settings.

Great plugin otherwise.

This plugin did work fine but why can’t you simply upload a video instead of doing a web cam.

I want to allow authors on my website to add a blog post and upload to my you tube channel not their own.

This would be so good if this feature was available.

Think about the possibilities, customer review videos straight into one channel on You Tube. Much better than a lack of control over these type of videos.

Just thought I would add to this thread as I have been tearing my hair out.

Firstly good advice with the settings, however my short codes don’t have su_ or gu_ in them the ones i have on my site are [tabs style=”1″][tab title=”Title 1 example”] and then [/tab] at the end of a paragraph.

In the Shortcodes prefix field of the settings I simply deleted the su_ and left it blank. Saved changes and it was sorted.

Some other codes don’t work so I changed them to the new ones and it is sorted now.

Great plugin, thank you so much for creating it, but please don’t do updates like this again. Surely you change the code associated with the shortcode not the shortcode itself!
