Thanks,

Resolved.
Hi,
Thanks so much for your help. I searched all the tables in the database, and found a whole bunch with malicious links in them. I deleted them all, and then had to recreate the affected pages and posts – luckily, there were only about seven pages affected, so it only took me a couple of hours. A new WF scan came up clean, so I hope this is the end of this little saga!
JimHi,
Just wondering if you got my email (July 2nd). Please let me know if you need anything else. FYI, I did set these pages to ‘Ignore’, but the WF message continues to flag these pages as malware infected, although I can find no trace of any malware when I go through the source code.
Thanks!Hi,
I am also thinking of changing from Total Donations to Give. However, I want to make sure I don’t get the same errors as I get with our present setup.Since PayPal arbitrarily changed us from PayPal Pro to PayPal PayFlow Pro almost a year ago, our recurring donations no longer work. The initial donation gets processed, nothing after that. PayPal says we need to change the customers CC expiry from MMYYYY to MMYY. So far, that hasn’t worked for us.
Also, when our donors use PayPal to donate directly through the PayPal site, duplicate donations are being recorded, sometimes up to six times. PayPal doesn’t know what causes this. The only thing that works consistently are regular, non-recurring transactions.
Of course, Total Donations is no longer supported, so I cannot get any help there. But I don’t want to end up with the same problems if I move to Give.
Any thoughts?
Thanks VM,

In reply to: upgrade via “clean install”OK, I’m sorry. I have never used this kind of support system before so did not know I was breaking the rules…

In reply to: upgrade via “clean install”Oops, sorry for not providing that information.
I had version 2.3 and was upgrading to 2.3.1
BTW, thanks for your help!Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: upgrade via “clean install”I tried to follow the upgrade instructions. I first backed up my old installation to my local hard drive. Then I deleted everything as instructed on my web server /blogs directory:
Delete your old WP files, saving ones you’ve modified.
Then I copied all the new files over to the /blogs directory. After copying over my own wp-config.php file, I get the 5 minute install screen when I try to open my blog. If I try to run the wp-admin/upgrade.php, it just opens it my text-editing program. I don’t know if I should run the 5-minute install or not? My database is OK; I did a dump on that and it looks good.
But now my blog is not accessible and I don’t know if I should reinstall it. Will I lose all my data in mysql?
UPDATE: OK, I remembered when I first installed WP, I had given my database a temporary name. Then, as I was configuring it, I changed that name to more accurately reflect what my blog is all about, not realizing that the first name would still be there.
Once I changed to the correct db name in the config file, all is well! But I have to admit I’m still a little nervous about the actual upgrade as WP says my database is up-to-date and does not require an upgrade (when I run /wp-admin/upgrade.php)
