In reply to: [Redux Framework] There has been a critical error on this website.I’m having the same issue and this is the PHP error log:
[29-Oct-2024 15:40:57 UTC] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘array’ (T_ARRAY), expecting function (T_FUNCTION) or const (T_CONST) in /mnt/stor1-wc1-dfw1/371338/924838/www.bleigh.com/web/content/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/redux-framework/class-redux-framework-plugin.php on line 28

In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] New install with only this plugin yet… Fails redirectLike this other person, I just installed this plugin into a clean fresh WordPress installation. When I activate the plugin and change the URL for the login page to a random string, the form submits and shows me the message:
Your login page is now here: https://www.mysitename.com.php8-40.phx1-1.websitetestlink.comef9agarc/ Bookmark this page!
The trailing / after .com was left off for some reason, but I checked and wp_options table and my whl_page is set correctly to “ef9agarc”. When I manually add the slash back in, I am redirected to the 404 page.

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Version 3.0.0 Broke my siteI take it that we do not agree, but I’ll just state my opinion that it is very irresponsible for you to post an update that completely breaks my site. I use automatic plugin updating software across 100 web sites that I maintain and to have a plugin author dismiss this problem as my problem is not the norm.
Should my client update their PHP version? Probably. I’ll suggest it of course.
Should a single plugin update on any of my sites cause that site to silently stop working without any notice at all until someone happens to notice? Definitely not.
Now that you know about this, the responsible thing would be to post a .0.1 version that contains a workaround and allows my out of date PHP version site to continue working. I mean you could put up an uncloseable notice in my dashboard on every page asking me to fix this and telling me how much danger I’m in, but just letting me fail….

I understand. I was just wondering because Jetpack, if I remember correctly, is made by Automattic, the folks who also create the WordPress CMS itself.
Alin- I think you’ve just made me aware of something I did not know regarding a limit of 25 sites authorized on one Google account. Hmmm. That’s not good. Thank you.
This has happened to me twice now. It’s infuriating lately to have to go and check on dozens of sites one by one.
