I’ll install WP Crontrol plugin on a dozen sites and then wait to see if this recurs. I’m not seeing any error messages right now because I have seemingly kickstarted your plugin to work again by resaving the settings. Was this a known problem that was fixed with one of your many updates over the last 5 months?

I do see several log files that are 1KB instead of 16KB on a few installs. I’ll post some of them to a pastebin to see if you can glean anything from them.

If you’re really trying to be that helpful, then just ask people for a screenshot or list of the other plugins they are running, their browser and computer info, etc.

Anyway, thank you for fixing the plugin. I have absolutely no idea how to change a review that I’ve left.

Why isn’t it a better idea for everyone experiencing the same bug to pile onto the same thread reporting it?

Thank you Andrew, I understand better now. I noticed several threads where the developer would ask folks for their site’s admin login information, and I was not planning on handing over mine.

It is curious though, isn’t it, that *someone* has decided it was good form to delete 5 posts from that thread and close it. ?? Love you guys.

Why would a moderator remove the last 5 replies from a thread, mark it solved and close it less than 2 hours after the last reply, thus making it appear that it was solved 6 days prior? That doesn’t make any sense unless one of you is a moderator here. Forums are to inform people, not hide the truth of when discussion is happening.

I just tried your demo version of this plugin, from the FAQ link on the sidebar. The demo is an older version where this was still working.

I resolved this myself. I had accidentally added screen output to the theme’s functions.php and I was then trying to PHP redirect after writing.

For the record, the new content *is* being saved to the database before the error.

Thanks all. I went with the paid Sucuri option and they fixed the site in about 1 hour. There was malicious code working together in a plugin folder, added to several theme files, include files, admin files. 9 files altogether were modified, and the server date was preserved on each of them.

Is GoDaddy a sketchy web host? This is where my client has this site.

Does Sucuri’s paid service do better than their free scan? Their free scan give my site the green light.

I have also checked for added javascripts in site files and in the database and found none.

The site is using the Organic Studio template, and I’m trying to get ahold of a fresh copy, but it’s not a free template.

I’m also replying to hopefully add a sense of urgency to this topic. I applied all the changes listed above, and the calendar is sort of working, but (at least in Mac Firefox) clicking forward and back through the months in the large calendar seems to send the Ajax into a loop and it starts changing back and forth through several months before settling on one and stopping.
