I currently have Register Plus Redux running and would like to replace it with cimy-use-extra-fields and have a few question.

Do I need to stop registration while I work on cimy? How would I do that.

The users and extra field I have now would I loose them?
Do I need to do anything to keep from loose them?

Any other thing I need to do or worry about?

What is the difference between a ‘menu’ and a ‘custom menu’ ?

And just how do I do that if they are not listed in the PLUSINS?

Is there a log you can look at to tell where or when one is sent out? Or is all done on the subscribers side?

I read in another post that someone was having the same problem and they had disable the ‘canonical.php’ redirect.

I compared the old file to the new file and saw something about not doing the redirect for IIS. The old has just IIS and the old file iis7.

As my server is a Windows Home Server with IIS6, I thought may be a problem. So I replaced the new file with the old file (only that file). As far as I can tell all pages and post are showing correctly. I am using permalink.
I also want to point out that don’t really know what I’m doing, just a shot in the dark.

I have a power button.. on my mac but no start button.

You must be thinking of Windows OS.

However I did find a the file: /applications/xampp/xamppfiles/etc/httpd.conf and that line is not commented out (no #).
