My apologies. I think I found a solution to my interest in widening gutters, posted in my original query over a year ago: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-increase-gutter-widths?replies=4. I’ll keep with the percentage width on the gutter as long as it’s wider.

I think I figured out the problem. Even though I had switched the page template powering the home page(s), from front-page.php to english-home.php in my post editor view, I failed to completely remove front-page.php from my theme directory. Therefore, front-page.php was still powering the home page.

Here’s how I’m unsuccessfully attempting to provide an English and Spanish version of my home page (www.vrco.org), by using two different custom page templates:

I have a WordPress page titled “Home” which relies on a page template I created called “english-home.php,” which renders correctly as the default translation.
I also want to offer a Spanish version of the home page, I have a WordPress page titled “Inicio” which relies on a page template I created called “spanish-home.php.”

When I click to select the Spanish version of the home page, the Spanish page menu and widgets successful show the Spanish translations but the main content, which relies on the “spanish-home.php” page template, does not render and instead stays in English.

Any ideas?

Try adding the following style rule to your website’s CSS file:

Thanks, Otto. Can you suggest how to right these wrong links? When I was developing on my local server via MAMP I didn’t have any trouble with images showing, now since I’ve migrated to a live server, those image references are obviously broken/incorrect. To clarify, I’m referring to referencing the images in the HTML within custom template pages, not through the “Admin-write” posts/pages (if that even makes a difference). Unfortunately, I can’t seem to understand how/where to correctly reference an image. I can’t seem to do it using an absolute path (e.g.www.mydomain.com/images/pic.jpg) or by using a relative path . Do I need to somehow reference the “uploads” folder, instead?

Here’s a live example–https://bluetrailcreative.com/work/ktaylor/ On the right should be six images, from my images directory, but they’re not showing. For that matter, the bigger image on the left should be showing, too.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
