That solves my problems! I removed index.php from my permalinks and suddenly my blog was a blog again.

My custom permalinks was “/index.php/%category%/%postname%.htm” and I did like you said, I murdered index.php and IT WORKS !! ??

All old links work to, for example Google and other blogs. The index-part of the permalinks did affect 2.6, I don’t know why.

My .htaccess is writable and I can’t login. When I rename it to a.htaccess I can login in my blog. I read some about Windows servers, but my ISP using Linuxservers.

When I change permalinks to default it works like it should, but I can’t try that when my .htacess is not disabled, because I can′t login. If I try I will get the “Internal Server Error”.

So: My 5800 blog posts in not reachable because the address is: https://Jinge.se/index.php/mynewpost.htm (example). That is Googles index of it, and I have some thousand hits via Google every day. No other link will work either, they will receive the 404-page.

Off course my .htaccess is 777.

I renamed .htaccess and that made it possible to login. But still it is problems with permalinks. When I run with default it works, but when I change to custom all will stop with a 404-message.

I have tried to reinstall 2.5.1. and the problems are still there. It seems like the new WP have done some database change…

Done that Edde! My htaccess is in the Binary heaven and nothing is changed. I tried to run upgrade.php again but still I have internal error…

Yes. I do have links in my blogroll. And the are flagged so everyone can see them, but….

I remember the last time I install a 2.5.1 for a friend, it was problems that time to. The new adminmenu isn’t so easy. Links is sometime “Links” and then “Link categories”. I don’t understand why a common word like blogroll disappear…

I work in Manage -> Links and the alternate menubars says View all categories and Order by name.

Well, of course I can make the links in html in a new widget, but I don’t LIKE to do that… ??

Well Gangleri, that I do understand myself.. ?? The sad thing is that they are not visible.

In write mode it is possible to use the “link”-function to create links. The result will be:

(a href=”mysample.com”>This is a sample</a)

But I want the function to open a new browser window with “_blank”, like this:

(a href=” mysample.com target=”_blank”>This is what I want</a)

In witch file shall I do the change? (edited question) ??

Is there any solution in the upcoming 2.5 ??

Well, I have done that. But in that case the blogroll dont show…
