This has been my problem as well – site is still fully functional, but outdated code can really bite you. At one time I was told I needed to purchase a license key even though the theme came with the plugin as part of the deal.

Thanks! Bad flu going around these parts. And thanks for doing a test run on it! This is the first developer to do this for me, usually they say “you have to get (or purchase) my new theme” if they don’t just ignore the request. I will be checking out the new themes for my next site.

It’s the same developer, I found a theme they are currently supporting (“Meditation”) and contacted them through the support on that one, They agreed to do an update and a few days later it became available. Since I’m sick (not at the office where there’s good internet) I have not tried it yet but I am confident it’s good.

That is the best news I’ve had in a whole week. I can’t thank you enough. I’ll be updating Monday!

Correction. It was never infected with anything. I was misinformed by a confused user, who just experienced an SSL warning when I let my certificate expire. Damned end users.

No! I was wrongly informed that there was a redirect hack that has happened to several other sites I have with outdated themes. But it turns out that the only problem was an expired ssl certificate. An update would be greatly appreciated for security so it doesn’t happen to this one though! Thank you!

Yep but it’s a pretty big site. Also I think it is vulnerable to redirect/injection virus ala stringengine.

Well, maybe I’ll check it out later. But I seriously think developers should stop uploading sample pictures that are so different than what the theme does when it’s installed. IMO I think if you advertise a gigantic image for the header, I would say don’t quarter it by default – things like that. I understand some things won’t be there for lack of content and settings but it seems to me that some things are pretty basic. My opinion. Thanks for responding.

Same problem, embedded youtube video not showing up. Shows up in safari, not Chrome or Firefox. Would be nice if your could post your solution!

Through your hosting control panel – look for “PHP configuration” in cpanel or “Programming Languages” in GoDaddy dashboard

Definitely the PHP version. I had to roll back because of an outdated and unsupported theme that I cannot change right now, and only then did I get the error (I updated the plugin last night).

Deleting got my site back up, just deleted the orbisius folder in plugins directory and I’m back in action. Thanks.

All I get are fatal errors, do I have to delete the plugin and directory etc and start all over?

I may do that, thanks. I submitted it to them via their quick contact form at their web site (recommended action on another thread) so hopefully they see it and fix it soon.
