In reply to: [Child Theme Creator by Orbisius] Problem with 1.4.0Same here, latest update broke the site. Above the Fatal Error I get
Warning: require_once(/home1/ab90944/public_html/mtp/wp-content/plugins/orbisius-child-theme-creator/addons/cloud_lib/init.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home1/ab90944/public_html/mtp/wp-content/plugins/orbisius-child-theme-creator/orbisius-child-theme-creator.php on line 48
Nothing works on the site now.
I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that the shortcode works and add another star, but the interface is not up to par with the other pop-up plugins I’m using now, not very intuitive. It was faster to try two more until I found one that works right out of the box. Thanks though.
Same here. Not sure why that’s not a feature.
A few things I am having a hard time finding are the ability to just have a picture pop up with a link (no button, just clicking on image), and the ability to have a background image, without jumping through a lot of hoops. Thanks.
I’m done with that site, but I need a popup on another site. I will try this one again and let you know more about it as I’m not in a big hurry this time. Thanks for developing stuff for wordpress btw
Oh yeah, I got it to work and it works/looks great, but there was one plugin I tried right before this that had a feature where you could set a background pic and have text overlayed making it really simple (simple is good when you’re in a hurry!). Liked that feature. That particular plugin was pretty buggy though. Yours is solid so thanks for your work and making it available.

In reply to: [File Away] Table not updatingOne thing I should do is update WP from the version I used to create the web site 3 years ago….but it seems to have been a sub-folder issue. I have Fileaway lists all over the place on this site and only one list was acting up, so I took a look at the differences between the working ones and the single instance of the broken one. This is what I found…
I changed the sub-folder from
[column size=two-thirds][fileaway type="table" mod="no" search="no" sortfirst="filename-desc" base="4" sub="voting/2016" style="silk" color="silver" accent="blue" iconcolor="red"][/column]
to
[column size=two-thirds][fileaway type="table" mod="no" search="no" sortfirst="filename-desc" base="4" sub="voting" style="silk" color="silver" accent="blue" iconcolor="red"][/column]
and everything works fine now.So perhaps I was attempting to go too deep. Whatever the case, it’s back to working perfectly. Thanks again for the awesome plug-in!

In reply to: [File Away] Table not updatingLooking more closely I see that it does not have an extension – .txt is how chrome tries to render it when downloaded. I’m certain as you said that it is something to do with my configuration of wp or another plug-in. I would appreciate if you would keep this open until I figure out what it is so I can post the solution in case it happens to someone else. Thanks again!

In reply to: [File Away] Table not updatingOK, thanks. Nothing you’ve run into before then? The file was uploaded on October 4 if that makes a difference.

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Support is very poorMy experience was exactly the opposite. I had some pretty awesome support for this plug-in via their web site, better than any premium account I have experienced, and I did not have a premium account. In the future, if the need arises, I will go to them first for any premium themes/plug-ins.

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] WorksSeems like this is exclusive to your site, as the testimony is pretty strong that the plug-in seems to work great for everyone else. Have you tried contacting support? Everything on your site up to date? Is it built to WP standards or is there a ton of non-standard customization? Often it is merely a plug-in conflict, and quite often something as simple as making sure the plug ins are up to date will alleviate the problem.

In reply to: [Point] Random number "2" showing near footerAdd the plug in above, there will be directions on how to alter your css with it. Basically once the editor is open you can just paste in the css above and you should be good to go. I forget in this theme, but most themes have a css editor where you can add custom css to override settings in the design. You can usually find this in the “appearance” section in the sidebar, listed as “theme settings” or something like that.
