In reply to: [BNS Featured Tag] No excerpt feature brokenI’m using Page Builder by SiteOrigin with the theme Makitto, so there are a lot of variables going on, I just chalked it up to that. I don’t need to use that function anymore, and the rest works great, so as long as I’m the only one it’s not a problem. Thanks!

In reply to: [Maskitto Light] elements of "green" into "blue"I did find a way to do this, in the customizer, in the latest site I’m building. It’s at the bottom of “styling” under “general style”.

In reply to: [Maskitto Light] elements of "green" into "blue"OK I just switched versions since it was not really that hard to do – thanks. Great theme btw and nice integration with SiteOrigin’s stuff as well.
Just an update, SiteOrigin support worked with me for hours to remedy this. I have other sites that use the same plug in and was not able to duplicate the issue, it had nothing to do with the plug in, and even though they suspected it was not the plug in they gave of their time freely to help me work through the issues. In the end, after hours with my hosting company tech support, changing the web hosting was the only thing that worked for me. Now page builder is working great again, and I would not hesitate to recommend and use any SiteOrigin products.
I was going to use the email private_______@siteorigin.com but I will over go there.
That’s good news – right now my solution is to cut the article down and link to a pdf or create a “part 2”, neither of which are ideal. Help on this would be greatly appreciated! I’ll create a user login for you.
After all of that not working, and trouble shooting with tech support from hosting, I decided to delete the site, wp installation and database, and start over. Everything was going good until I tried to create a page with a massive amount of text – a rather lengthy article. Suddenly the same thing happens – won’t update, just spins. It would seem as though Page Builder cannot handle that much text on one page.
I’m using Maskitto Light as my theme.

In reply to: [Redirection] Hacked through your pluginSomeone’s a little defensive lol. I think probably the only one angry is the guy who got his site hacked, which is frustrating, but there is still a lack of evidence as to what exactly caused it, so no need to slander the plug in or the author. You brought the possibility to his attention, but it’s all a big “maybe” so I stand by my request (which I think is in the interest of all honesty and integrity) that you amend your review.

In reply to: [Redirection] i got hacked thanks to this pluginThere is just no way to help because you did not gather any data. Please change or remove your review. You simply do not know it was this plugin, there is no way to find out at this point, it has never happened to anyone else that I can find in the history of this plugin, so there is a good chance that something else caused it, therefore you should amend your review to reflect this.

In reply to: [Redirection] i got hacked thanks to this pluginThere is an open thread in the support section for this plug-in. It seems there is sufficient lack of information to tell what happened and it is the only claim of vulnerability in 10 pages of threads for the plug-in.

In reply to: [Redirection] Hacked through your pluginThis is the only suggestion of a vulnerability that I was able to find in 10 pages of the Redirection support threads. It is quite likely that access was gained through some other plug-in, or a vulnerability elsewhere, and the hacking agent simply utilized this plug-in once inside. You should change or delete your review, unless you can provide the documentation to back up your claim that it was a vulnerability in this plug-in.
