I have since contacted the host. They have ruled out that the cause lies with them.

There was an update recently. Could that perhaps be related to this?

Everything worked just fine.
Suddenly, on April 19, 24, no new posts arrived.
Under “Reports” it says the mails have been sent.
But they did not arrive.
I sent a test mail to myself as a trial. But it did not arrive.

In dialogue with experienced colleagues, we have come to the conclusion that the change is most likely related to changes in Google’s specifications or criteria.

Would be interesting to hear what others have observed!

Although, as the screenshot shows, we managed quite well and had on average around 300-500 referrals per day, sometimes more. That’s quite ok for our site.

Such a sudden steep decline seems strange to me – particularly because we didn’t change anything and worked quite thoroughly with Yoast Seo all the time.
