In reply to: [File Away] File away accessibility – Workaround solution?Okay, hold. I’ve fiddled a bit more and I did get something. I’ll keep trying to figure this out because it’s something of a process to get it and then dumb luck to get it right. I’ll probably be fine and hopefully I can use this once I find the right tutorial text. Thanks for your time and letting me know it can be done makes it worth it in the end I’m sure. ??

In reply to: [File Away] File away accessibility – Workaround solution?I can’t get them activated using the keyboard. Nor do any type of mouse manipulation functions give them to me. I believe I have tried just about anything. I can after a bit of struggle get a list up, but I can do nothing with the items as they don’t communicate at all with the screen reader.
The code there didn’t translate at all. No matter; follow the link please. ??

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Blank page upon loading. Need refresh each time.It didn’t last long. Clearing the cache seems to do it wonders, but it doesn’t fix the problem. anyways, I was about to remove i-themes so I started with unchecking all the tweaks before disabling. I thought I’d try for a bit and the site runs smooth with no more problems. Exactly what tweak might have done it I’m not sure. I might recheck them one by one and see what happens. ?? Think I am on the right trail though finally.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Blank page upon loading. Need refresh each time.Supercache has only one checkbox. Serve compressed files to visitors… I checked that and it indeed seem to work beautifully. Yikes, can it really be that easy? Well, I’ve been updating several posts sadly outdated just now without a single hiccup. ?? Thank you! I will not hold my breath because I am a wordpress pessimist but it sure seems to work fine so far.
Just for the sake of information that’s probably useless; I did read the supercache debug log and I found it interesting to see what happened just at that point of blanking out.

I have no true idea what that means and why serving gzipped files would be different than a non gzip. But that’s simply because I’m still a fumbling idiot around WP. I’m just glad it works.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Blank page upon loading. Need refresh each time.Ooh, compression. I did read something. Not sure what I have it set too. I’ll check that asap. Thanks for letting us know. ??
Hmm. Well, I’m going to dismantle Ithemes as soon as I get the energy and hope I don’t run into trouble. Not forgetting to go to CPanel and backup the databases first. It would be just my luck to break everything as soon as I’ve gotten inspired to utilize my site for serious crap finally. ??

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Blank page upon loading. Need refresh each time.I would really like the “follow this thread” checkbox would be checked by default. This post is just to subscribe. hehe.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Blank page upon loading. Need refresh each time. There are a few threads talking about i-themes security (Formerly Wp Better security= being the culprit with these blank pages. I was starting to think it was super cache, but reading your problem I see that that is most likely not the actual problem. I haven’t heard of any conflicts between i-theme security and WP super cache so I’m at a loss. I’ll be switching security plugin soon if I don’t get this resolved for sure. It seems I’ll have to disable one of them regardless. This is not good for visitors.
https://studiochaotic.comI might just try that. But another thought hit me. What kind of caching you you use? I’m not completely sure but I believe I’ve used Ithemes longer than I’ve used Wp supercache. Seems like that fits better in time with my troubles. Just wondering.
I checked the long url , no difference at all. I suspected Widgets in pages, don’t use it anymore. I don’t use akismit or jetpack. I have no webshop installed; I use default 2014 theme atm.
I get no php errors in debug mode. It happens without being logged in. If it was just me, I guess I could live with it but if I miss out on visitors because my site appears broken, then I do have a major problem with it. I’m also having problems with its database backup not functioning and that may push me away finally. I’d like to get it fixed.
However; Are there any other security plugins that would do the same thing, anyone know of anything good? I hear wordfence is heavy on resources and that is not a good option for me.For me, pages just don’t load, just shows a blank screen. Refreshing works. Haven’t tried the suspicious url thing yet. It seems like it’s gotten worse lately but I’ve actually minimized my use of plugins at the same time and that feels counter intuitive if anything.
Anyone had any success dealing with this problem? The plugin has been updated a number of times since this thread started and I’m having the same problem on 4.0. No email, no saved DB. I’m not up to purchasing BB as a single site as a single admin with no money coming in to cover that kind of stuff. It is extremely annoying.

In reply to: [Widgets on Pages] Notice: Undefined index: wop_name_3I’m getting the WoP line 189 error as well. But that is the only error left to resolve. The plugin author says it’s probably not a real problem and that it will be resolved in the next update. But That was a year ago. ??
Anyways. With fear of sounding like an idiot; this white screen of death thing. Is this a complete no go, or is it like with my site. I get a blank screen but refreshing the page gets things going again. ? Usually when previewing a new post or saving settings etc.
This is very annoying, but if that has anything to do with WoP, I couldn’t say. I would love to know and some way get it resolved. WoP is one of few plugins that I would fight to keep on my site.True, interesting nonetheless. Something I’d love to do if I thought I could.
