  • @johnbecker – The way I like to do that is at the end of the text add Read More… highlight it and make it a URL link to your full page.

If you are not sure about doing that, after you highlight the text look for an object that looks like two links of a chain link, click on it and it should allow you to create the link. If still not sure here is a good page: https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/beginners-guide-on-how-to-add-a-link-in-wordpress/

    Hope this helps,
    Julian

@khiz – Not sure what builder you may be using but I know if you are using a builder such as Elementor each button has to have its’ own unique button ID.

By the way, your site looks nice. Congrats.

    Hope this may help,
    Julian

@arod947 – Glad I could help. I know this stuff can be frustrating sometimes.

@elpaissa – Schema has to do with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) which is another whole ballgame from just designing the site. If your first 4 post showed up without using the Schema plugin I would suggest not using it unless you want to jump in to the world of SEO.

SEO plugins do help a site on search engines but you really need to know how it all works first.

    Hope this helps,

@arod947 – If you are trying to make inicio your landing page you must go to your Dashboard and click on Settings>Reading then under “Your homepage displays” choose a static page and then make your homepage inicio.

Hope this is what you are looking for,

@ioresearch – If you are new to this you will find frustration is a big part of the game. There will be a lot of things you would like to do and can’t. Or you will find it is possible but you are the one that must spend the time to figure out how to do it. You can create your own icons but you can’t make them part of the icon library.
And you may have to figure out how to add them, to say, a button as an image instead of an icon.

I want swear to it but I don’t believe there is a way to create a sub folder to the main image library in WordPress. If you were to look in the Folder Manager of your cpanel you would see that the image library creates its’ own array of folders for all your images. They don’t really go into one single folder.

No other hits on the delete issue other than yours. Still cannot delete users whether in bulk or single delete.

Not sure my answers are what you were looking for but let me know,

@ioresearch – I am assuming the slide or carousal of small animals is the buttons. You should be able to assign a link to each photo or graphic. If you are using Elementor you can had a link to about anything. It does not become clickable until you had the link/page link.

Hope this helps, let me know,

@ioresearch – I have never used Defender but I have used their free versions of Smush and Hummingbird. Pretty good plugins but I see things in your list that I like better by other plugins so would not want to get locked in to using theirs due to spending the money. I have never worried much about security because it is pretty much provided through my hosting. I use Cloudflare free version for a site CDN (which also provides security for your sites) and for an image CDN I use Shortpixel. They have reasonable pricing.

As far as spam protection there are some pretty good free plugins out there. These are some I have used.
    anti-spam
    antispam-bee.2.9.2 (I like this one)
    cleantalk-spam-protect.5.146
    zero-spam.4.10.1
    fullworks-anti-spam.1.2.0

I have actually bought very few plugins unless I really like everything they offer in the free version. I always try the free version first and with most I find things that I don’t care for. They may have things I would like in the pro version but do not want to spend the money if it has things I am not going to use.

    Good talk,
    Julian

@ioresearch – Are you using the latest version of WordPress? At this point I am going to say DO NOT UPGRADE TO LATEST VERSION OF WORDPRESS!!!!

Updating WordPress is the only thing and the latest thing I have done and my site is going crazy. I tried the plugin and it did not work. What it did do was just sit idol, eventually timed out and killed my disk quota with a huge error log.

My disk quota for this website is 1000 MB with around 500 MB actually used. The error file that was created jumped my site to the 1000 MB quota freezing the site up until I deleted the error log file.

I am using WordPress with Elementor Pro builder and various plugins. This is what I use on about 20 other sites with no problems but they have not been updated to the latest version of WordPress and won’t be at this point.

Just not sure what is going on,
    Julian

@ioresearch Thank you for your reply. I tried what @tobifjellner suggested but it did not work. I am going to try the plugin to see if it will work. I had seen the plugin but I try not to use any more plugins than necessary and I had rather have the software work has it should. I will use then delete.

The fact that I am getting an error I believe has something to do with the new version. I went to one of my sites that has not been updated to latest version (version just before update) and had no problem deleting users.

I do appreciate the help from both of you and hope to see more as to if this is a version bug. I don’t believe it has anything to do with a buggy plugin because I am using pretty much the same plugins I always use and they are all up to date.

    Thanks,
    Julian

    Hello,

Problem solved, it worked. I tried some CSS as I thought about it being the theme but didn’t hit on anything that worked. It confused me though because the other buttons were not effected by the theme.

Thank you for your help. I really like and appreciate the plugin.

Thank you for the response. Yes, it is https://simplyasian.menuonline.biz/wp
It is still in WordPress development stage.

I did figure out that I could put a statement on the checkout page about PayPal as opposed to changing it. But I still have no resolve for the UPDATE button.

    Thanks,
    Julian

Also, can I change the PayPal choice to read Pay by Card but still go to PayPal as some people may not know what to click if they want to use a card due to being unfamiliar with PayPal. Not everyone knows PayPal.

    @filmguy2013
If you don’t mind me asking, what did you use to create your online menu?

    Thanks,

Don’t want to be a pest but I’m having issues with the plugin combined with theme. I am using one of the most popular theme builders, Elementor Pro, with their simple Hello Theme designed to work with Elementor. If you look at the attached example you will see that the X out, + and – symbols are not showing up very well. And “Add to Cart” is in black as opposed to white. Also, the addon lists has no spacing like your demo has.

Is there a way to fix this other than figuring out special CSS code or do you happen to know the CSS that would fix it.

    Thank you,
    Julian
