  • I am also unable to get indented child categories. Everything comes up in one big list. I am running WP 3.4.2. On the zeeBusiness theme.

I’m unable to provide a link to my blog because it is run on a private corporate intranet.

I was playing around with the checkbox-item.html file and was only able to mess with the spacing. Indenting doesn’t work. I also do not have any hierarchy when I choose “lists”

Thanks in advance for any help.

I would definitely love a feature like this. Paired with being able to display grandchild or great grandchild categories, this would be an incredibly powerful tool (I like categories better than tags because they follow a hierarchy – being able to filter down would be incredible).

Here’s the value I see in it for me: I am building a simple recipe database. A “cake” recipe may also have built-in instructions for icing. So I file it under “Applications…Cake” and “Applications…Toppings, Icings, Fillers…Buttercream icing”

So, if you want a recipe that paired a cake with a solution, you would select the two subs under the same category, and BAM, you get the one article you want!

    I have the opposite problem.

I have this plugin installed, with unmodified code. I’m using it to drill down my categories. I have several parent categories with 2 levels of child subs.

Testing out this plugin, I selected two child subs that should return no results. Instead, it treated it as an ‘or’ and included posts from both categories. This of course rings true for any situation.

Instead of drilling down, I’m just doing a search that turns up way more posts than I’d like.

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks for any help.
