Thank you, Matt. I don’t know if I’ve ever been able to see the Media Library link, but I do know that I am the admin for the site. If I don’t have permissions to see it, no one would.

    Nick,

Are there plans to fix this plugin to work with private calendars again? It did prior to the update you created, but now just tells me “Some data was retrieved, but could not be parsed successfully. Please ensure your feed settings are correct.”

    Version: 2.1.5

    Feed Shortcode ex.: [gcal id=”1414″]

Feed Settings (that worked prior to the update):

Google Calendar ID: Private URL from Google Calendar
    Search Query: Blank
    Expand Recurring Events: Check box
    Date Format: Blank
    Time Format: Blank
    Cache Duration: 1800
    Multiple Day Events: Check Box
Display Mode: Grid / List (we use both types)
    Show Paging Links: Uncheck box
Number of Events per Page (List View Only): 1 Month
Display Start Date Offset (List View Only): 0 Days Back
Minimum Feed Start Date: 1 Month Back
Maximum Feed End Date: 1 Month Forward

None here. The last post about it from Phil Derksen Posted 22 hours ago, said it wasn’t yet working. I haven’t seen anything stating otherwise yet.

To confirm, this doesn’t seem to be working correctly with private links.

I’m getting the error message “Some data was retrieved, but could not be parsed successfully. Please ensure your feed settings are correct.”

I have several calendars, and have not checked every feeds’ settings, but the ones I have checked appear fine (the settings worked before) and the feed Google Calendar ID’s are correct for the private address from Google.

    Update:

I found that the reason it says feed has not been set is because when I created the new feed, it cleared the settings of the existing Training room feed even though I wasn’t editing that feed.

I am getting something similar although my calendar is no longer working. My calendars are a little out of the ordinary: I have a grid on the left with a list floated next to it. Each page may have multiple calendars for different resources (conference rooms, training rooms, etc) stacked going down the page.

For instance, I have the grid calendar with list calendar floated next to if for a conference room for a particular branch office, then below that the grid and list for a training room for the same office.

Before having to create the separate feed for the lists, the grids for the conference room and training rooms each displayed their events, although the lists said they had not events to display. After creating the separate feed for the conference room list, the training room list and grid each say no events with the two error messages at the very top of the page:

The feed URL has not been set. Please make sure to set it correctly in the Feed settings.
