In reply to: Remove Author Information from Media FilesAlso, is it standard practice to allow images to be indexed by Google? I’ve never noticed this before with other sites, so I’m not sure if this is a setting on this site in particular or if I was just never aware of it.

In reply to: PermalinksUnfortunately, my host said your suggestion is specific to dedicated servers. We’re on a shared server. Any other ideas?

In reply to: Editing Images – No Option To RefreshThanks for offering to help. If I am editing a page, and insert an image by clicking “Add Media”, I can choose the image I want and then click “edit image” from that pop-up window. Once I make the edits, save, and go back, the original pop-up window usually displays a link that says “refresh”. The point is to use the updated image rather than the original image. The refresh link is not showing up, but is something that I have used on many other WordPress sites.
Bump
Nothing comes up. Is it supposed to be https://domain.com.tld/wp-cron.php ? I tried it without the .com as well and nothing came up.

In reply to: [Front End Users] Username Field WidthThat worked, thank you!
I also just noticed that all of the fields have the field title inside of the box except for the password field. Is there a way to make it consistent?
Thanks!

In reply to: Menu, Images, Page Templates, and SEO Plugin not working properlyYa I had activated the default theme and deactivated the plugins several days ago, but was still haivng the issues. Ya maybe reinstalling the WP core files is the key. And yes I just updated the theme a few days ago, but I don’t know when this issue started because I haven’t touched this website for many months. I was just going in to update WP.

In reply to: Settings – Media – Store uploads in this folderIf the instructions I used didn’t work for you, you might be using a different server. I was using a windows server through GoDaddy. There’s more detail for different server types at the link below. Hope that helps!
