In reply to: [Event Calendar] event calenderI was having trouble getting calendar to work with Firefox. I removed Autoptimize and Easy Music Widget (EMW) and NOW IT WORKS IN FIREFOX!
I don’t know which one was the culprit yet but I wasn’t using EMW and I didn’t see where Autoptimize helped much. If time, I may check it out but for now I’m going to leave well-enough alone and celebrate. If I were to venture a guess, I would put my money on Autoptimize as the culprit.

In reply to: [Event Calendar] event calenderI changed the Simplemodal and got it to work in IE but not Firefox. When I tried adding the migrate fix…
The first attempt crashed the site. I backed that out and tried a couple other suggestions, which didn’t work. I’m assuming I don’t know how to install.
I backed all my attempts out and reinstalled the simplemodel and am leaving it for an upgrade from Mr. Miller. At least the calendar will work for 95% of the site’s demographic.
A post from the Mr. Miller saying an upgrade is on the way, would probably keep me from getting panicky and crashing my site again. ??Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Event Calendar] event calenderIt works great in IE now! BUT now it doesn’t show in FireFox. ??
I didn’t know if I’d get all the references so I renamed the SimpleModal I downloaded from Ben Kaeding and renamed it to jquery.simplemodal.1.4.3.min.js which was the name of the file in the Plugin’s folder and overwrote the file (I saved the old file elsewhere just in case)
Did I do something wrong? What should I have done. ThanksForum: Plugins

In reply to: [Event Calendar] event calenderNever mind – got it downloaded from your other post’s link. Thanks.
Where do I put it?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Event Calendar] event calenderSorry but your link gives me a “server not found error. I’m not familiar with jQuery programing (code). If I’m able to download, how difficult will it be to install? Thanks.

In reply to: [Event Calendar] event calenderThis might be the answer but sorry – I don’t know how to install. I’m using the Magazine Basic Theme. It’s described as a Plugin but cannot find in the Add New section. I found it on the GitHub site BUT – Could you advise on how to install or link me to a place that will tell me? Thanks.

In reply to: [Event Calendar] Problems with IE and WP 3.6I Googled the above error and came up with this:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/12046242/simple-modal-jquery-1-8-0-and-ie9
I’m not an experienced programmer so I don’t know if this is even the same problem (sounds like it) but thought I’d put it out there.
As for people putting down IE – I concur (and have) BUT I’m using the calendar on a church website and 80% of the congregation use IE because that’s what came with the computer and they’re afraid downloading and installing Firefox will blow it up or something. Sigh!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Event Calendar] event calenderSame problem here – Works great in Firefox. Perhaps there are some settings in IE that can be made? Thanks.

In reply to: [Event Calendar] Problems with IE and WP 3.6I have the same problem. Works fine in Firefox. Have been playing around with IE settings but haven’t found the correct one. Any hints would be appreciated. Thanks

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] No ToolbarThat does explain a lot… I guess I did do something to repair the problem. I removed a slider that I now suspect used jQuery. A similar slider is now on (what I call) the HTML side of the site. What I mean by that is the WordPress part of my site is actually a sub-domain. The slider and all my jQuery menus etc are only found on the HTML side. I didn’t do that because of your plug-in. I did it because jQuery seems much easier to build on that side and also – just works better. I have a little bit of code inserted into the HTML side in case my site is accessed by a Smart Phone (sniffer code) which will redirect that person to the WP side, which is a responsive theme.
As for your plug-in? So far it’s working great! Thanks for all your great work!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] No ToolbarThis is crazy – I haven’t worked on my website for several days (least that part of it). Yesterday I needed to create new page. When I clicked on the Page Builder tab – two toolbar icons we there – Add Widget and Add Row. Another crazy thing: I did absolutely nothing to make them appear AND the Prebuilt Layouts icon appeared after I logged in in today.
BTW – now that the icons have appeared, I think you have a great plugin! If the icons stick around – I’ll be sure to give it a 5! Thanks.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] No ToolbarI’m using 1.2.7 is there a newer version? Thanks for your quick response.
