In reply to: [PPWP - Password Protect Pages] Password not updatingAre you able to get into wordpress to see the plugins and all the pages and posts? If not, then that is the first thing you need to sort out. Whenever a developer builds a site for a company they have to give that company access to their site unless there was another arrangement made. I cannot think of any other way to make a change to this because you have to login to WP as a person with permissions to make changes or as an admin.
I should mention I’m running my WP on a SuSE Linux server. I have a test bed that I run using WAMP and it appears to be working using the same WP and NG version, so I’m at a lost on why it does not work on the Linux side when it was working just fine before the NG upgrade.
Also this is the code that is on the page:
<img class="ngg_displayed_gallery mceItem" src="https://www.jlorenzo.com.au/index.php/nextgen-attach_to_post/preview/id--1735" alt="" />

I’m having the same exact problem I did not realize today that the slideshow is not working.
I too upgraded WP to 3.9.1 and NG to Version 2.0.66.Any word on a fix or at least can I go back to a version that does work?
Interesting as I get the thumbnails to show up nice while using chrome, however, in IE8 just very small boxes.
I’m not sure what eh lightbox is supposed to look like so I can say I do not have this working either, but I’ve been trying to get the slide show to work and no luck with it.
How can an update be so badly written to have so many features that do not work?After I figured out there are features that needed setting, I retried it again and while I can get the single image and previous and next and close to show up the slide show do not work.
In IE8 the thumbnails images comes up as small squares whereas in Chrome they show up as thumbnail images.
Unfortunately this update still has a lot of bugs in it, so I may roll back.
I have not tried to upload yet.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Image not showing upMy images are not uploaded via ftp, they are all (840) unploaded via the upload/insert component when writing a post or through the Next Gallery if I’m putting them in the Gallery. I’ve checked to see that new images are uploaded and placed in the correct place.

In reply to: Image not showing upIt’s definitely not a permissions issue as I’ve changed the permission from 755 to 777 and it’s still the same problem.

In reply to: Image not showing upYes, I have my own servers sitting next to me. the images are uploaded via either through the post by clicking on upload/insert this takes me to the “Add media files from your computer” page which give me an option of uploading from computer, Url, gallery or Media Library. the image is in the gallery marked as gallery (1), I select this and then click on the “show” option and then I select “insert into post”

In reply to: Cannot upgrade using automatic upgradeNo it’s a SuSE Linux Enterprise server, so it does this on its own. Anyway, I did resolve that issue I needed to restart Apache. I thought I had, I ran php -i to see that the modules were indeed installed.
Thanks

In reply to: Cannot upgrade using automatic upgradeI host the webserver myself. The problem is I cannot find what piece of the php code I need and which module it pertains to. Is there a log file that is kept? I know it has something to do with the automatic update of any module (seems like a zip procedure).
