Hey sorry,
Time was against me and I’ve completely scrapped the old problematic website. I’ve since started to rebuild.

In reply to: Error: wp_load_translations_early()Whatever the most current version is.
At this point, whatever happened has effected all of the backups and I can’t restore anything. I think I have to just accept that whatever this was won. And start from scratch, unless you know of a way to recover the old posts…

In reply to: Error: wp_load_translations_early()…so I tried to restoring the backup, now I’m back to the same old problems…

In reply to: Error: wp_load_translations_early()The one I backed up said it was from about 10 hours before I upgraded it. And two others that are for the week and month, but they saved as a later date, so I hope the older two are what the server said they’d be.
But I think I have a pre-upgrade db backup

In reply to: Error: wp_load_translations_early()Didn’t realize that they all needed to be done at the same time. So now that I have it working… I tried the 4th step and there are no updates to be done. I have logged in too – all of my content is missing, how do I get that back on here?

In reply to: Error: wp_load_translations_early()All that did was take me to: HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.
Is there something within the Files Manager that I need to do with it?

In reply to: Error: wp_load_translations_early()I’ve tried the first three suggestions and it doesn’t appear to have an effect on the website or wp-admin. When I try to switch the theme by changing the name, nothing happens.
How do I go about running the upgrade manually? I’ve seen the file, but it’s empty.

In reply to: WP-Admin access: HTTPError500Yeah, those don’t appear to be the problems anymore. The only issue I am working with now is:
[14-Aug-2012 00:31:07] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_load_translations_early() in public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1129
I’ve even tried to delete that code completely and then it tells me I’m missing tables or something and offers to fix it and after I go through the steps I ultimately have to put the code back and I’m back to step one.
Not trying to be difficult, I’m just not sure what I can do anymore and my host provider has been less than helpful – just giving me the surface level solutions.

In reply to: WP-Admin access: HTTPError500No, but I re-uploaded that specific file after I received that error and that fixed the problem. Except for being back to the original problem of course
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: WP-Admin access: HTTPError500I did that and I am back to:
[14-Aug-2012 00:31:07] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_load_translations_early() in public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1129

In reply to: WP-Admin access: HTTPError500I never deleted the files first, I just went with the restore button. How much do I delete? Just wp-admin and wp-includes? Or everything (outside of wp-content and wp-config.php?
…I do have a backup saved to my computer which is good.

In reply to: White screen after manual update to 3.4.1@esmi… I have tried all those except I don’t know how to run the upgrade manually. Also nothing changes when I reset the plugins or try to switch themes.
The error message I repeatedly get is:
[13-Aug-2012 18:52:18 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_load_translations_early() in public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1129
I’m really unsure as to what to do, I can’t log into the wp-admin. Time/date of the website has frozen on the front too.
Hi Frederick,
I am receiving the following error:
[13-Aug-2012 06:52:29] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_load_translations_early() in …wp-includes/functions.php on line 1129
I am unable to access https://www.themusicphoenix.com/wp-admin – I am getting the Error 500 message. I can only access what Bluehost allows me to through their CPanel, but not the content on the website.
Also, time on my website doesn’t exist, another side effect of whatever is happening. The issue occurred early on Friday, August 10 and yet the post from Thursday, August 9 still shows up as 17 hours old… 3 days later.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
