I have not updated my nameservers – I didnt want to do this until I fixed the error. Unless the error is caused by not updating the nameserver.

Yes – but the instrucutrions for:
Keeping Your Domain Name and URLs

are very light – but what I did essentially is:

1. copy over all WP files from root
2. create new db and user on new host – db name ended up being slightly different.
3. Edit config file with new db name
4. import db

This is where I am now – with the error.

yogi thanks. I read the info on the child theme and am confused. I copy the style.css into a new directory I created but not sure where to add the new line – here is the CSS below – I copy it as it to the directory and simply add the one line?

Does bbpress have a competitive plugin that is integrated as a WordPress page?

I did look into this. But had trouble figuring out how to integrate it as a word press page in my site. I use a theme that has multiple content pages and I want this to be another page on the site. Is this possible?
