This isn’t clear, is this in the main settings or the actual page editor, and if so which page are you editing and how did you get the search in the left coloumn?

Yes, that’s right.

Resolved this by copying the form code and creating my own HTML custom form. I then used the shortcode as a widget, which seems to have sorted it.

No – it didn’t work with antibot enabled but work when I switched it off.
