There’s also an issue that if you set up tax by zip code, if the customer enters their zip +4, it won’t charge them any sales tax.

This is happening on another product.

I added about 5-10 variations, all with different part numbers, stock, prices, photos, saved.

Added more. Saved.

Added another 5 or 6, saved.

Now half of the variations I already saved are back to blank. No attributes selected, no SKU, no stock, no prices, no photos, nothing.

The 2 products I’m having issues with have around 50-70 variants each. Please help me.

It needs to be set up so that only an admin or editor can change the customer’s status to exempt, not the customer. I can’t have customers decide they are exempt when they aren’t then get stuck with owing the tax myself nor can I have exempt customers get charged tax then have to reimburse them. Crediting sales tax is a huge pain.

Thanks but that doesn’t help me. This should be included in the WC platform especially since the US government is getting their hands dirty with sales taxes.

I use a plug-in “Import Users from CSV” but it appears the links I have are taking me to a site that is no longer up. Try searching for PubPoet, the author of the one I use.

Screen options > uncheck SEO Title and Meta Desc. as they are the cause.
