2nd thought on this. You should set the plugin where the group creator is automatically set as the group admin. That way it works on a more automated level. This would be much better for sites like mine. Manually setting users as an admin can be tedious and overwhelming once many groups are created.

Thanks for this information. It was definitely helpful. Now only if ProfileGrid would offer styling of blogs like USP does…I would use PG solely for my site.

Especially considering its names Profile field Manager but have to go into groups to get there.

Wasn’t easy to find. You have to tick the box next to the group name and then you see a field button. I found it though finally. Maybe future change to make it a menu item instead?

Any ETA on finding another developer? May have to drop your plugin for a different solution.

@jarretc One last question.

Depends on whether it’s worth buying. Will have to develop it and post some screenshots of it in order for people to decide. There are currently many great themes already available as WriteShare works with many, many great themes.

I think you meant to respond to @redhope and got our posts mixed up.

I use Go daddy also…worst host but anyway, don’t use installatron. Upload WordPress manually, create a database and install. After install then activate the plugin. I have it on my site working flawlessly.

I understand. I was hoping not to have to change the coding because of plugin updates will wipe out the custom changes.

Have that link working now. Do you have any sites I can look at even possibly join to get better ideas of how others are using WriteShare? Thanks

It’s a new site so no users yet. Do I uncheck make authors automatically and leave registration up to the social plugin?
