In reply to: [reCAPTCHA in WP comments form] Not workingHi, my friends,
There is so a few technical specifications in this questions however, it seems that your themes have an special configuration for the id HTML tags of the form elements. Enter in the advanced section of the plugin an choose de correct way to access the HTML elements.
thansk in advance.

In reply to: [reCAPTCHA in WP comments form] Not showing in commentsHi, dandr69,
I’m sorry for the delay.
Your theme uses a variation of the common id HTML tagging so you have to define the special configuration of this theme inside the advanced options of the plugin,
In your case, you have to choose the option that says “button has not ID” and declare the javascript query to locate this element.

Joan Miquel
I’m sorry for the delay, Christian, but I’ve been disconnected from this site for a lot of time due to several reasons. In any case, in the next day I will try to check that could be happening with our websites.
Thanks for your patience.

In reply to: [reCAPTCHA in WP comments form] Works on Firefox but not on Chrome or SafariHi, robgnyc,
Efectively, there was some issues for old versions of Chrome and Safari using any recaptcha implementation, not only this plugin however, I’m just to test the plugin in a fresh WP installation version 5.4 and a new version of chrome and it works perfectly.
I’m sorry but, could you send me some more information abot this issue… Your configuration, browser versions, a link for test?
Thanks,
Joan Miquel

In reply to: [reCAPTCHA in WP comments form] Remove recaptchakysorkhabi),
Probably there is another installed plugin that is sending the code. For example, the forms plugins usually craate some variants of the same code.
If you have uninstalled this plugin, it’s impossible that it is sending HTML code.
Thanks,
Joan Miquel

PD. By the way, I see the the recaptcha perfectly… Are you sure that you are testing the plugin after logging off…? ?? If you are logged to WP it’s impossible to see the pluging working. First, log off you and then test it.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [reCAPTCHA in WP comments form] In postsHi, gertrudew,
Please, would you mind giving me some more information about your question/suggestion? Because, really, I don’t understand what your message is meaning: a recaptcha field inside posts?
Best,
Joan Miquel
Hi, William,
In fact, you are completelyt right, there isn’t a color, mark, tab or similars for marking the differences -so in the next version probably I’ll describe the plugin in a different way- notwithstanding, if you compare the complexity of the parameters of the sections named “recaptcha API Keys”, “recaptcha Customizer” and “plugins settings” for example, I’ll quickly find the basic, middle and advanced settings.

Joan Miquel

In reply to: [reCAPTCHA in WP comments form] infinite / endless spinning / loadingEfectively, due to the way of google’s plugin initialization, some old versions of chrome experiment some issues (p.e. infinite spinning)… In fact, this behaviour was reported a couple of years ago as an google’s issue nor a plugin’s issue however, in that case it should have to have a message in javascript console. If this is the case, please, check it again because and post the results otherwise, send me some more informacion about the wp installacions, an URL to make some test, etc.
Thanks in advance, jonathanfdgweb.

In reply to: [reCAPTCHA in WP comments form] Custom colorHi, freshail.
My plugin can’t define the recaptcha field background color because this feature is controlled by the “google recaptcha field plugin” that just allows to color configurations: light and dark.
My plugin allows you to choose one of these two configurations meking a call to the google’s plugin but it’s not possible tho change the background color itself.
In any case, thanks for the suggestion. ??

In reply to: [reCAPTCHA in WP comments form] Remove comments featureHi, Freshail.
There is is an option that specifically allows you to delete directly any spam message. Check the plugin options options page > AntiSpan options and then set you the third option.
Thank you.

Hi, CrashSoup,
I’ve checked your wp installation and I haven’t seen anything working wrong. The installation is correct and there isn’t any suspicious message in the javascript console so all plugin’s mechanisms are working properly…
I’m afraif that, in fact, you are asking for a new feature so, firstly thank you very much, CrashSoup, I think that can be a good Idea to check additionaly the list of previously approved authors and create a second rule/circuit of aproving.
It is really a good idea however, to be honest, at this time I did not plan to develop new functions for the plugin because I’m very focused on completely different topics in my life, in any case, as the idea seems very interesting, I will give it a few turns to see if I discover a simple way to implement your smart request.
Thank you in advance. I’ll say you something in a few days via your contact address.
Best,
Joan Miquel
