Yeah that helped and validated, only thing is now i get a white background. i guess i could make a class <p class=""> or something like that and then added to the style.css

I’m sorry, i guess what i wrote was not what i was wondering about.

I want to keep my old domain name and still use for pictures and other crap but the blog I want to move it to the new domain name that i bought.

I will not give out this domain name out to people close to me, friends, family and co-workers, that way i write more openly.

When i did a test run of moving the blog to another everything worked, but when looking at the sql code some sections still have the old link.

I just want to make sure if they google the old name(if they are smart enough) that no small link directs them to the new blog.

What i meant by private was from people close to me but not the world.

the instructions are great… i just tried it and tried a trial moving just to make sure i didnt mess up and everything worked.

It think i got my comment issues fixed.

So after i backup the database through phpmyadmin, i can just delete all the wordpress files and folders on my website and then upload again 1.5 files and rerun the upgrade.php

That sounds easy.

I hope that fixes my comments problem.

Well that didnt fix my comment issues, oh well.

That’s funny, i have the opposite problem.

Do you think, i could just back up all my entries and then cleanly reinstall wordpress 1.5 and then import the entries back into wordpress?

or is the process more involved that just the entries?

I havent done much modification to my blog so restarting is a not a big deal.

Yes i did the upgrade.php and read the backup instructions etc and everything seems good besides i mean this situation… unless i’m really doing a user error on my own.

Do you think the problem could be related from updating from a nightly version to the 1.5 strayhorn?

Can the Comments be back up only so i can rebuild WordPress from a fresh install?

I took both Spamwordblock and spaminator out of plug ins and even took them off my server.
I took off spam words and posted and it posted correctly. I then added back a spam word and tried your suggestion of adding only the letter “a” and then tried to post again and still didn’t work.

Yes Spamwordblock is turn off.
