i now have a request to change the default fields, that appear in the results overview. i copied the “default” folder, named it “custom”, and changed some fields, but its not showing up. instead, when i change the default stuff, the changes work.
whats the trick to change the theme..?

its just hard to get along with no docs.
so you say “copy the default folder and call it custom”.
should it stay in the plugin folder, or do i have to copy it to my theme..?
cause so i have to monitor this folder during an update. i saw that woocommerce uses the same method, but this folder has to be in the theme folder and just has to have a certain name. maybe that is an idea..

that didnt do the trick, so i tried around and finally found the snippet. its in the jquery.validation localization.

guess this feature depends on the language, that is definded in wp-config.

what if i import 3404 and afterwards import 22..?
well the problem i have is following: a client of mine wants to import a huge batch of posts. later these posts will defenetly change, but this should be managed by import as well. they work with internal catalogue mumbers so i figured i could use this id. but if wordpress may interfere with these id, this would be pain.
is it possible to use their custom id as a custom field and overwrite the post, if this id will be imported again?

here is a solution for the page title

in the header.php file of your active theme, look for the <title> element and replace it with the following code.

<title><?php if ( is_shop() ){ bloginfo("name"); } else { wp_title( '|', true, 'right' ); } ?></title>

if shop catalog page: show blog name (set it up under settings > general).
else show normal wp_title.

you also could
echo "Some fancy String";

but the above solution is more dynamic and controllable via backend.

the whole count ‘ish is in
template > loop > result-count.php

remember: if you modify these files, copy them to your theme first and rename the folder “template” to “woocommerce”..

so it should be in
your_theme > woocommerce > loop > result-count.php

the sidebar thingy logs into wordpress. but thats what you want, since woo is running on wp. and since you are “only” a customer, you cant really enter wp. you get redirected to “your-account” site, when you want to enter admin area with an account of status “customer”. so this plugin is what you want. installed it 5 seconds ago and is working ever since..

hi. i sorted it out. the sizes have to be created as attributes as well. and each variable has to be set with its specific attribute. i did not relate each attribute to each variable, but since i did that the stock level is working properly..
