I’ll echo the others. Your site is clean, uncluttered and looks very professional. Nice work!

I would really like to integrate IPB (Invision Power Board) with WordPress eventually and have searched for info similar to the above to do so. Does anyone know of any? If they did I’d be forever grateful. ??

I’ll take a look at bbPress in the meantime. Thanks for the above info!

Hey, that’s quite nice! Particularly for a first effort. I think dark themes can be difficult to make work in a widely appealing way, and you’ve done an excellent job with that.

I have registered with Godaddy before and hosted elsewhere. Like podz said, you do not need to host with them. Lunarpages also has cpanel and you can do a Fantastico install of WordPress blogs with them. Very easy to use and I’ve been quite happy with them.

I’m on high speed and it still was relatively slow to load.

Myself I’m finding your blog a little bit too busy. You’ve attempted to give it a nice, clean design but there’s just so much there it all just feels a bit too crowded to me. I’m not quite sure what to suggest, as I’m very new to all this, but it just feels like some tweaking is needed to make your layout really work well.

Very nice work. I like the look a lot. I really like how the header and background integrate.

Oh wow, that looks amazing! Nice site! ??

EDIT: And btw I’m on a Mac using Safari.

I’m currently working my way through this tutorial and finding it incredibly helpful.

Looks good to me in Safari.

Not sure if you’re aware, but clicking both Scripts and Contact in your menu brought up a “Not Found.” for me.

It does seem a bit wide, but I don’t think it looks silly. If the menu across the top of it matched up in width, it’d likely look fine. Or maybe it’s supposed to match in width but it’s not in my browser?… I’m using Safari.

The pop-up info doesn’t seem to quite fit with things. Seems a bit big and clunky compared to the look of the links you’re hovering over. Good idea though, maybe just refine a bit.

Overal looks nice and clean though, so I’d say a few tweaks and you’re there.

Agree with vkaryl. I would love it if I could read it!

If you could sort that out and make the column look a little less squished and tiny, it would be fantastic.

Perhaps it wasn’t your intention, but the way you worded your post made it sound very negative and not very complimentary of the theme viewer.

“but by no stretch of the imagination does it include the greatest of what wp theme designers have to offer.”

“As a matter of fact, when I go looking for a new theme the last place I go is the theme browser.”

My apologies for misreading you, but it did honestly seem that you were being less than complimentary of the hard work put into this project and I didn’t feel that was very fair. I see that you’ve started a thread to point out other sources to find themes, and realize that you were just trying to let people know they were out there. Your initial choice of words, however, didn’t make that come across very well. Again, I’m sorry for the misunderstanding, and thank you for posting those other sources.

“Yes the theme viewer has a lot of nice themes, but by no stretch of the imagination does it include the greatest of what wp theme designers have to offer.I have found hundreds of themes over the months that were never included in that browser. As a matter of fact, when I go looking for a new theme the last place I go is the theme browser.”

Bhoney, I really don’t think the fact that the Viewer isn’t an exhaustive resource of every single theme out there precludes all the hard work that went in to developing it. People are showing their appreciation for the hard work put in to this, so your comment seems rather out of place to me.
