In reply to: What is wrong with this code? Thanks so much for your help. I contacted the web designer and he advised me that all I needed was the URL not all the extra code. That works so problem solved. I think that’s what you are saying too. Appreciate your time.

In reply to: What is wrong with this code?Whoa! I added a div code at the end of code </div> and it looked even worse! So that isn’t the solution I don’t think. Unless I did in incorrectly.

In reply to: What is wrong with this code?I’m confused. This is what I did.
1. Clicked – New Post
2. Clicked -Add Media
3. Copied code and pasted it into area for logo
4. Clicked “Update logo”
4. “Viewed” site and image had extra words next to image.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: What is wrong with this code? Not quite sure what you mean? I uploaded the image into posts and then put it into text (code) before copying and pasting it.

In reply to: Orphan pageThank you, I’ll check what others are doing and if this is the only option then I guess I will do it.

In reply to: Orphan pageOk, I really appreciate your time. I thought it might have something to do with disabling the tabs for that page only. Ok will check back tomorrow.
Cheers, Joan

In reply to: Orphan pagemy site is https://wwww.lifecoach101.com
If I’m on Social Media for instance I want to give a link URL to a sales page that doesn’t link to other pages in my site.
I have created a page (not published) that I will be using for the sales page but when I preview it – all the other pages tabs are on view.
Make sense?? Thanks

In reply to: Broken imagesThank you. Appreciate that input.

In reply to: Broken imagesThanks for the quick responses guys. I fixed it by deleting the old broken image and inserting it again.
Whilst I have your attention is it a big deal to update to WP v3.5.1. I am always terrified I will lose everything! I have no plug ins or anything so would it be ok to just click it and update?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Broken imagesNo I haven’t moved the site. I got the images from a file on my laptop. Would I be able to ‘refresh’ it by using an earlier revision??
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Broken imagesI wonder how that could have happened then. I created this page months ago. So would I be best to delete the image and re-insert it? Or would I be able to use an earlier version of the site? Not sure what that link is that you have copied.??
Thanks for the heads-up re update.
