Thank you for your answer, but I think I miss something here.
This shortcode is automatically added by WordPress when I insert an image.

All other themes I ever use didn’t have issue with the caption shortcode.

Why is OceanWp different than other themes in handling shortcode in excerpt?

On this staging site, I deactivated all plugins but Wpstaging and Ocean extra.

Locally, I made the test without Wpstaging and I have the same issue.

So, I don’t think that’s a plugins interaction.

I don’t know if the plugin is registering image size. Here is the plugin descritio ;

This plugin enables renaming of media files. It adds a field in media edit form where you can enter new file name. After renaming, it’ll regenerate all intermediate image sizes (if media file is an image) and update all links inside posts.

I used Regenerate Thumbnail on one image then i checked on ftp and the images size didn’t change. I still have a warning on Google Page speed Insight about this image.
