Using WP 2.7.1 and having problem very similar to original poster:

Pages show up in the manager, can be edited but when you click view or click on the link to the page from the site the main page of the site just refreshes (doesn’t go to the page. But, when I type in the url for the page it loads fine.

Notes:
No plugins except askimet.
Using the passion duo theme.

MichaelH as a Moderator, is it really helpful for you to tell someone who is clearly having an issue with a buggy new version of WP to hire someone to help? Ted isn’t the only person having this problem. Maybe you could contribute a solution. Earn your stripes.

If you have any plugins installed (aside from the ones that come with WordPress) try them on your server and then re-loading the page. I had the same problem you are having and when I removed the plugin the problem went away.
