Was an issue with me being Admin and being given a profile type.

Can I use this method with Silent Remote Sending instead of sending the fields to the second form as a query string? I can get the data to send as a query string, but once I try to setup the Silent Remote Sending it stops working. So I’m not sure if it just isn’t possible or if my settings for Silent Remote Sending is wrong.

I’ve tried to get this working for many, many months, on and off. I’ve read the FAQ, searched Google and tried everything else I could think of. The only thing I can come up with is that this feature cannot be used on 2 forms that are on the saim domain. (Though I’m sure I was able to use it like this before FSCF did the major upgrade to 4.0.

my cvs import contained some dates in 1970. I fixed those and my issue got fixed.

I am not the plugin author. I had set this up for a client months ago, so I cannot say for sure if you still need the beta or can use the most recent version. My GUESS is that you would be able to use the most recent version since it has been update 25+ times.

My redirect setting were to a page I created. (Nothing special here. Just pointed to a regular page I created)

I don’t recall what I used for your questions (b) and (c).

I did not fix the problem. I’ll mark this thread as resolved since I have moved on.

I’m not sure why you are thinking I would need to translate it. I’m just wanting to edit a word in the email I receive.

I re-added my CSS and all is OK.

Hidden field:
The hidden field is used if you need to pass a hidden value from the form to the email message. The hidden field does not show on the page. You must set the field name and default value.

I just created a hidden field on my Test Form. Both the label and the input area were hidden from the form shown on the computer screen, but the Label and the Default Text were included in the email I received.

If it doesn’t work for you this way you might have a conflicting plugin.

If I am understanding the requirements correctly… You would just need to create those other fields, make the type ‘hidden’ (as opposed to text fields), and give them the default text that you want to be emailed.

I am glad that I can send my data from form1 to form2, but am disappointed I cannot use the Silent Remote Sending feature to do it. I’ve been “chasing” this issue, on and off, for a few months now. I’ll be keeping an eye on the forums to see if anybody comes up with any information on this, but I think I’m done actively trying to find the solution for myself.

I’ve read that article and others on the sending of data. To get the Silent Remote Sending to work, I have tried every combination imaginable. I’ve tried every setup with bost POST and GET methods… renamed my “envelopenumber” field with and without the form numbers, and omitted it completely… The URL with and without the trailing “/”… Used “fields to ignore”, and also left it blank…

I cannot think of any other way to try to make it work, so I am admitting defeat and using “Posted data can be sent as a query string on the redirect URL”.

Thank you for that information. I’ve spent hours on his website combing through information, but do not remember reading that. As of now, the only field I’m trying to get working with Silent Remote Sending, is a text field.
