@njsteffey you were not being harsh. When a developer releases a product and then releases updates to make the plugin so bad that it makes the user experience so bad that it makes the website not functional it is actually looked down upon. Now our clients and users think we decided to give them a bad user experience. It messes with our reputation.

What they have done is make the plugin turn your website into something unusable to the point that you are forced to purchase their plugin. Trigger a popup every 10 seconds, turn a banner into a modal, and having it where the admins couldn’t use the website before this latest update.

What’s truly scary is what are they going to do with their other plugins? Are they going to pull something like this on all their products? There is a trust issue now.

It triggers it after every 10 seconds unless one purchases the plugin. You have truly gone out of your way to make sure this plugin makes the website not functional. Why?

I mean you could of added more functionality to get users to purchase this instead of making the plugin that you turn a website into something not functional.

As mentioned in my other response to you this is not for you to make it more visible for users that the website is closed. It was to prevent the website from being usable in every way possible. The color red has the highest saturation and stands out the most so a banner that says the store is closed will grab every user’s attention and they wouldn’t need an entire disabled site that the eCommerce is closed.

To anyone reading this simply add a red banner and put your cart/checkout page to private. They are other plugins for store hours control as well.

You didn’t do it to make it more noticeable for the users. You did it to force people to purchase your product. Because even as an admin I couldn’t click anything on the website. You completely disabled everything.

To anyone reading this a quick fix to this is having a banner that you can enable and then turn your cart/checkout page private.

Or is there a way to give a hidden value to questions and then create a condition if they fall within this range of values show this result or link?
