In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] yet more failed orders with no error in logsThank you kindly for the reply. I just updated the plugin. I’ve set the 3D secure to “Always” as you suggested, but I am not enabling this payment option yet and will continue to use the PayPal Pro CC processor since that isn’t having issues. This is because you stated above that you don’t see any reason for it to work better than the previous version.
Thank you for taking the time to reply. Have you had many reports or is this rare?

In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] yet more failed orders with no error in logsApparently there are enough people experiencing no failures that perhaps they are not taking this matter serious. The site in question above is using the Divi theme. If the WooCommerce team has determined the failures to be related to a theme or specific plugin they should at least let us know so we can contact that developer.
Thanks
Thank you. I’m not seeing those errors any longer.
I’ve updated the plugin as suggested as well as WooCommerce itself and I’ve experienced the following error: Failed CC transaction (Could not process order. Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.)
I refreshed the checkout page and tried again and got the same error message, though only one failed transaction showed up in the Orders.
I then removed the item, added it again to the cart and was able to successfully checkout with the CC. No problem with the PayPal or Amazon checkout.
So I’m now wondering if you have solved the intermittent transaction failures issue or not. Note that this is also the first time I’ve been able to reproduce the error myself.

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] Warning after switching to PHP 8I had this same error prior to switching to PHP 8 show up without making any changes. I tried switching to PHP 8, no help. Tried deactivating plugin. No help. Same error. Tried renaming Plugins folder via FTP. No change. Tried activating backupwordpress plugin again. No change. I even removed the plugin (via WP) after deactivating and then manually removed the backupwordpress plugin directory via ftp (which was still there) and the same error shows.
PHP Warning: The magic method HM\BackUpWordPress\Extensions::__wakeup() must have public visibility inEven after removing the plugin via WP there remains backupwordpress references in the database.
How do I remove this plugin entirely?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce Checkout Page missing required fieldsThis is the exact error I’m having; a bunch of missing required billing fields when those fields aren’t available on the page. Upon checkout, the small PayPal window pops up, I log in, shown the amount with the option to use my PayPal balance or the bank attached to my PayPal account, click the purchase button, the window closes and my PayPal info is passed to my website checkout page correctly – which is all normal. But then on my website checkout page I click the Place Order button and the page returns the following errors:
Billing First name is a required field.
Billing Last name is a required field.
Billing Country is a required field.
Billing Street address is a required field.
Billing Town / City is a required field.
Billing State is a required field.
Billing ZIP is a required field.
Billing Email address is a required field. Now in the Dahsboard/WooCommerce/Settings/Payments backend page there is a checkbox for “Require Billing Address” with the added note under it reading “PayPal only returns a shipping address back to the website. To make sure billing address is returned as well, please enable this functionality on your PayPal account by calling PayPal Technical Support.” which is already UNCHECKED. This would seem to be set correctly and yet the checkout page still appears to be asking for it.
Please advise.
Thank youHey I was able to update the review as well as increase it to a 4 star for your excellent customer support towards a guy who hadn’t yet even purchased the full version. Thanks just the same.
Again, I’ve moved on already to a different solution, but thank you just the same. It is very kind of you to assist. Because of your excellent customer support please let me know if you would rather I remove this rating or change it to a 3 star and mention how good your customer support is?
Thank you

You are very kind and diligent to address this so promptly so your customer support is great; would you like me to remove this rating or change it to a 3 star while mentioning your excellent customer support?
Thank you very much

In reply to: [WP Google Review Slider] plugin does not workI discovered that months ago so that’s not the issue but thank you just the same.
Thanks for the reply but I setup the billing account long ago on my account. So that’s not it. Question: does this plugin work if it’s used on a subdomain? The dev site is on a subdomain, and despite trying to verify the subdomain with Google it would not verify. Even though the google html file that was linked right on the verify screen was actually there, and despite me adding a txt record for Google verification Google would not verify the subdomain, even when added specifically. It did verify the main domain but that didn’t get your plugin working. I never leave bad reviews and am already starting to feel uncomfortable leaving this yet maybe this thread will help another person troubleshoot. So please let me know about the plugin with respect to working on subdomains as I’m fairly sure it’s related to Google not verifying the subdomain. Also, the autocomplete never worked either when searching for the property so I added it manually as instructed by the plugin internal link. Thank you.
