In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Event Start Times are Off@sharonhandy – I had to switch to an alternative plugin; but it isn’t as good, in my opinion, as this one (sans the bug). Since there doesn’t seem to be any support here I am keeping my fingers crossed that the next update will magically resolve the issue.
Hi @waltesser,
Yes, Span closes window, doesn’t open link.
Link targets new window/tab. (target=”_blank”) Closing the pop up is cleaner to me; I removed the live url from the comment above, so there is no issue there (I’m sure the link is working).
If it can’t be done it’s not a deal-breaker, just a disappointment. Otherwise a nice plugin, thank you for the time and effort you put into maintaining it.

Hi @waltmesser
The links are taking the user off-site so the preference was to have it close automatically.
I attempted the short code, it opens the link but does not close.
[popup_close tag="a" do_default="1"]<a href="link" target="_blank">Test</a>[/popup_close]
Next I attempted the “Close after 10 seconds…” logic, no luck there either.

In reply to: [Weather Underground] The location could not be found after updateAlso getting the “The location could not be found” error within the widget and the shortcode suggested above.
Took one of mine down too… I tried reverting to the previous release; that was a no go as well.
Going to check jrf’s suggestion

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Everything gone after updateYes, same issue here… version 3.2 doesn’t seem to work with the Politician Theme, reverted to 3.1.
I had the same issue… I simply deactivated WP Super Cache, though that is not necessarily a suitable solution.
