Yes my client had updated from 5.5 to 5.6.1 this morning and that’s when the site broke.

We are also using Theme My login which I think does try to redirect the user to /login that may be where the problem has arisen.

For now I think we will leave it on 5.5 as not on multisite anyway.

I think I have the same question as this but I’m not clear what the answer was.

We are looking to add users to groups using the rest API. Is this possible?

Users are being imported / created automatically from another system and we wish them to automatically be assigned to a group which is indicated from a field in the other system.

My dev has said he is looking for the endpoints.

Does my request make sense and if so do you know the solution please?

This is no help to you but I have the same problem. It started about 2-3 weeks ago. I assumed it was because I had installed Wordfence and I tried uninstalling and also upgrading to Worfence pro as thought maybe I needed a unique API there but still no joy.

I have a Rackspace dedicated server and images sitting on Rackspace cloud files as my CDN.

It’s usually around 5pm that it stops working.

Do you think it’s a bug in W3 Total Cache then?

Have you made any progress? Did you get anywhere with Rackspace support.

Would be very pleased to hear any progress you have made and if not yet resolved to try and work together on this…

I have spent much of this afternoon trying to resolve this issue so am posting the solution here to save other people time.

You need to got to:

wp-content/plugins/wp-user-frontend/assets/js/frontend-form.js

and search on size and you will see it’s set to 2MB – change it to what you wish.
I’m not sure if it’s necessary but I made the same change in the minified file too:

wp-content/plugins/wp-user-frontend/assets/js/frontend-form.min.js

Please note when you update the plugin you will need to make this change again.
I don’t have it but I believe if you buy the pro version you can change within the plugin settings in WordPress.

Thank you so much for supplying such a comprehensive response.

The client is using the # in their post titles to indicate an ad so I think trying to get them to use a special character coudl be complicated.

For now I’ve gone to normal weight which I think will be preferable to using a different font.

Will try the Google route – you never know.

Yes to all. Thank you for looking at this. Just to be very clear, your plugin is not the problem – but I was hoping it would be the solution!

If you look at the slider at the top of the homepage on:
https://devree.carciofino.co.uk/ both posts should be showing a # symbol before the word ad.

If you look in the code view you can see that line 872 shows font-weight: 300. If you change this to font-weight: normal then the # symbol displays. I’ve done that for the time being on the live site: https://www.reallyree.com/ – ideally we would prefer to continue using the lighter weight.

The font is quicksand.
